'Moqueca Mista from Sushi Samba' was a meal that my family shared, a photo I got took home and drew because I though the photo was beautiful.
This was the second of three drawings I did on the subject of dressing up the dead carcasses of once living/swimming sea-creatures. What I find fascinating is that beautifying of something sounds not-beautiful, dead fish and crustaceans. Concept inspired by Celeste Olalquiaga's book 'The Artificial Kingdom'. Of course, finishing by adding some not-tacky-at-all muscle emojis to the bottom.
