Still Time?
Mixed media on (own) handmade paper

Made as lockdown began, following wildfires, drought and famine. An exhausted, overheated, threatened world. The reclaimed wood laths symbolise the sense of confinement we all felt, alongside increasing anxiety about our planet . The colours included tea and coffee which I accidentally mixed when supplies were low and shelves empty. The vintage clock face came from a long-ago clockmaker, symbolising the passing of time. Where does time go? It passes so slowly, yet races by. And time is running out for us humans.
