There will be people from different backgrounds living and active in the building. When the occupants of the building move away, there are traces of the space they used in the building. Especially in old buildings, architects and users have completely different living backgrounds, and occupants entering this building may renovate the building or add man-made structures to the building. This process reminds me of a metaphor: architecture is like the body, and the man-made structures in the building, the pipes, are like the tissues of the body, the lymphatic system or the blood vessels. I make works based on this metaphor, and my works contain parts of buildings, bionic surfaces or forms.
