This drawing is about the lockdown. I was at home, working from home along with my husband and my two kids. The world we were locked into seemed narrow, being only the four of us. However, it carried a contrasting dynamism in comparison with the outside world. My kids were active and within our physical limitations we ended up being active as well. The difference between “normal” and then, became the outside, which was experienced through the means of screens. I aimed to capture movement in its most physical manifestation in this image. The movement
is constant and, in many ways, contrasts the stillness of the lockdown and it is in contrast with the stillness of the 'screens' (digital media).
