Bridgerton season 2 beautifully represented the South Asian community, subtly and gracefully intertwining our culture and traditions into the show. Television doesn't just reflect culture, it shapes it. We shouldn't underestimate the importance of seeing yourself in television, film and print, and the impact this can have on self-perception and identity. I was inspired to create a piece of artwork of the Sharma sisters, the two leading characters in the show.
