FIRE WITHIN IMPOSSIBLISM 63 X 50 CM
oil on canvas
The painting titled ‘fire within impossibilism’. Theme is a grand Indian traditional press iron used generally by washer men. Basically it is made out of bronze and red coloured wooden handle. Source of heat is fire out of charcoal. Subject wise what I wanted to picturise was traditional press bronze iron having zeal of fire within to press and straighten bent copper coin, otherwise it is impossible to iron bent copper coin. Painting burning charcoal fire texture was my first experience. Using colours like yellow and green for brass effect, was challenging for self-taught artist, like me.
