Chloe-Jean is a multi-disciplinary Female Artist who was born and raised in the City of Newcastle and is currently located in Leicestershire (England). Specialising in Oil Paint, Graphite and Charcoal. My work typically revolves around the natural world by creating imagery representing our planet in a vibrant beautiful manner. I’m passionate towards the importance of fauna and flora, and I explore this in my work by focusing on the connections between the land, animals and Insects.
Insects are currently on the forefront of my work as they are one of my primary interests. I am working on an ongoing series named “Natures Empire” exploring the importance of how insects influence the integrity and organic function of our world. The small and often un-noticed creatures hold such a large role into planet Earth’s natural cycle. Im simply fascinated with the fluid functionality between the land and insect. I truly believe that there is no separation; that insects and flora are very much one entity and produce the most harmonious living cycle.
